First of all, I’m sorry about my grumpy post the other day. It was negative, I was tired and stressed out.
I FINALLY have my day off, I have spent it all day in my pjs, catching up on Once Upon A Time and True Blood on Sky Go. And this evening consists of Snow White and Despicable Me 2. Jolly Good.
Anyway, so I’ve just come out the bath, and I thought I’d share with you the amazing bath bomb I purchased from Lush the other day. (also just realising that Mia posted about Lush last week too)
Despite having run my bath waaaay too hot (as per) and getting an odd tingly sensation up and down my body because of it. A bit like a thousand needles being prodded in? Anyone else get that? It’s either heat or me having an allergic reaction to Lush. I really hope it’s not the latter.
Sorry, getting distracted.
I bought the Avobath bath bomb as a little treat to myself. All my other bath bombs I’d been using were so out of date that the fizz had actually stopped working! They were about two years old….. I know, disgraceful!! So, back to the Avobath. It was based on Avocados, and it promised a relaxing experience and soothing properties and such.
I popped it into the tub of what was practically molten lava, and watched it bob around the bath fizzing away. The water turned green, which I know isn’t the best colour for a bathtub, but it was a nice green.
I lit my Sicilian Lemon Yankee Candle, pressed play on the “Toasty Fireside” playlist on Spotify, and got in. (After running the cold tap for a while, that is.) Looking at the water, I noticed that it had a little shimmer in it. And it most definitely did soothe. My legs were aching so bad after leg day at the gym yesterday, now they feel a lot more relaxed.
If it wasn’t for the strange sensation I mentioned above, and the water being too hot, it would have been the perfect bath.
Now, I need to get out of my towel and put on my favourite pyjamas before ending my chill day with a film fest.
Love ya,
Harri xxx
